My shop PattiStyle
After years of selling my crafts only at various church Christmas craft fairs, my daughter introduced me to Etsy. She said " Mom you should open a shop because then people all over the world can see what you create". I took her advice and opened my shop in 2010 and am so happy I did. My shop features not only crafts and fine arts, but also unique family vintage items.
My studio is very neat because I find it easier to find things in an uncluttered organized space. I have bins labeled with the contents, lots of shelf space and a large work table. I recyle items, most people would throw away, if I think I might use them someday as part of my art work.
I am the sole creator of my art but my husband helped me when I first opened my shop by taking some of the photos. With his knowledge of picture taking I think I have learned how to take clear pictures and now take the photos myself.
I recently added vintage items to my shop. I do not find things at flea markets. These items, in my shop, have been in my family for many years. Because of this, I can usually give a little history of the piece.
I think my shop is unique because I work on a variety of crafts not just one type. I enjoy the diversity each media brings. I also list quality vintage items that are in great condition.
My first priority is to my customers. I inform them when they will receive their purchase. I recycle boxes so I can pass that saving on to my customer and keep prices down. All my work is boxed and ready to ship which cuts down on waiting time to receive the purchase.
Lastly my work is largely inspired by things I observe in nature and also by items I recycle.
I hope you enjoy my shop and thank you for taking the time to visit.
