SAM" - Our Inspiration!
Sam was a truly wonderful and magnificent Golden Retriever. Our boy, son and brother is the inspiration behind us starting "Paws Dog Bakery," as he has had his own Healthy, Natural Treats prepared by us with love, care and attention since he was a puppy.
We want to share these with other Dog owners and lovers so you too can give them the healthy, natural treats that they deserve. The story behind Sam is a special one and we would like to share it with you.
When my husband Gary was seven, his Father was very close to getting him a boy Golden Retriever puppy, but correctly decided that due to their family circumstances it was not fair to have a Dog at that particular time.
His Father then immediately said to him: "Son, one day in the future you will get a puppy, a boy Golden Retrieved r, and you will call him Sam!" Thirty seven years later having "met" Sam whilst he was in his Mother's tummy and as a newly born, we brought him home at eight weeks old. The fantastic extra bonus was that his Father was still with us, and he and the Sam had a marvelous, loving bond.
To all of us, Sam is just perfect! He has a wonderful temperament, he is very intelligent, loving, gentle, fun, extremely loyal and phenomenally special . His unbridled excitement and pure joy when any of us come home is just wonderful to see and experience.
Very sadly Sam passed away in September 2015 aged 8 and half. It was very sudden and has devastated our whole family. There is not one day that goes by that we don't miss him.
One of our sayings about him is: "Sam loves everybody and everybody loves Sam!"
We dedicate "Paws Dog Bakery " to Sam with all of our love.
We now have a Rescue puppy called Giggsy (1 year) and a Golden Retriever puppy called Cantona (5 months) so the legacy lives on.
