The story of our shop is the story of our family
We are a big family built through adoption and foster care, and built very quickly, we are an instant family with all the joys and confusions that come with it. Nick and Hilary were married in 2007. We welcomed our first daughter Olivia at age three in 2012. In 2015 we added son Killian as a newborn from Houston, Texas, and daughter Katelyn at age 9. In 2016 we welcomed daughters and biological sisters Casie, Angelique and Hannah at ages 13,11 and 9, we also added daughter Laticia whom we had close with since she was 12 through the years of working with foster child, at age 18 she moved home. In 2019 our crazy 8 became complete adding daughter PJ at age 15 and starting the next generation adding granddaughter Miranda followed by grandson Archer in 2020.
PAWsitivley Perfect Designs started four years ago as a way to get us through some tough times. We never imagined what it would become, this small operation where we stained and painted in our tiny kitchen started to grow and grow.
One of the biggest passions we follow is working with our beautiful Newfoundland’s Penelope and Emerson which is where the paw comes in. Our success in foster care I highly attribute to our pets and we teach other foster parents how to utilize companion animals to help in healing. We hope to continue this work when it is safe to do so.
