Roughly ten years ago, I started dabbling in jewelry making. I saw a pair of earrings in s a store that I loved, but they were ridiculously out of my price range. Being a naturally crafty person, I searched for supplies in local bead stores, took a class and created those same earrings, only with real turquoise instead of the imitation the pricey pair offered. I guess, as they say, the rest is history. My passion is creating one of a kind bracelets, full of eclectic finds and gemstones, but I also enjoy creating simple, unique earrings. My shop is a good mix of both.
I often get asked about the name of my shop and I will let you in on a little secret: it's named after my first two dogs. Murphy, my first pup, was a Dalmatian and I have a pair of simple cork earrings in the shop named after him. Payton was my second pup, my baby. He was the sweetest Weimaraner you could ever meet and I miss him dearly. My boys have a baby brother now- Duncan, who is a rambunctious silver lab that keeps me on my toes.
