I make "A Peace Chain" which consists of ceramic and wood pendants and larger pieces with words for ‘peace’ in one of 100 different languages on each piece. Over the past 23 years I have personally hand made and distributed over 500,000 individual pieces. They have been spotted around the world with sightings on every continent including Antarctica!  It is an ongoing conceptual work that I will make the rest of my life.  This is my way of saying "peace" with my art.

Made of ceramic and laser cut wood, the pieces vary in size and shape and color like vegetables from the garden of my imagination. The pendant size pieces come with a necklace cord of organically grown hemp. An explanatory flyer with a list of “peace” in many languages is printed on recycled paper with vegetable based inks. The wood is FSC and Rain Forest Alliance certified. The wood stains used are non-toxic, water based and no VOC.
