Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to receive my order?

All pieces are handmade to order and will take about 2 weeks to make and ship not including shipping time. This time frame is also outlined in your confirmation email upon purchase.

Once your item is ready to be shipped you will receive an email with your tracking number through USPS and an estimated delivery date.

Do you make a custom jewelry?

Yes, I love custom work! If you have a stone or other objects you would like made into jewelry or coated with copper please contact me and let talk. I once completely coated a horse tooth in copper for a customer!

Custom order sales are final. These orders are made specially for the purchaser and no one else, therefore I would not be able to resell.

How do I care for copper and plated jewelry?

Like most jewelry you want to avoid wearing while in water, using any chemicals, exercising, or sleeping. Use a jewelers cloth for a regular shine up.

All pieces are first created with copper as its base metal. If you notice a greening happening, do not worry, this is an indicator of your bodies pH level. Copper is a wonderful healing metal being used in the past and presently as an indicator of an overly acid body pH. High pH levels should be addressed to maintain a healthy body.

You may inhibit this greening by simply applying a coat of clear nail polish in the inside of the ring. Please note that a highly acidic pH if not addressed will eventually wear off the clear coat and another layer would need to be applied.

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

Yes! As long as the item is in like-new condition and was not a final sale, I will be happy to work with you in making a return or exchange.

Please contact me within 5 days of receiving your items and ship the items back within 14 days of receiving your items. The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless communicated otherwise.

Once I have been notified I will provide a return address. All items are to be shipped back in their original packaging.

What is plated Jewelry?

The technique of plating jewelry is coating a base layer of either copper or brass with silver or gold through electrodeposition. The layer of precious metal has a thickness of microns therefore will over time show signs of wear.

What is Electroforming?

Electroforming is the process of growing copper on an object through electrolysis. A jewelry piece (the cathode) is submerged in an acid bath with a larger piece of copper (the anode.) A battery power source is then hooked up to both the cathode and anode and electricity is applied. Copper then transfers from the anode to the cathode and the jewelry you see above in the pictures is a product of that process! This creates a piece of jewelry with variable texture that defines my raw, organic style.
