About Pebbled Posies
Whether it was my grandmother's iris and hydrangea, my aunt’s roses and violets, or my mother’s lilacs and lilies, I have always been surrounded by flowers. My favorite memories seem to all include flowers; they have marked the important occasions of my life.
The idea for Pebbled Posies began when I imagined how wonderful it would be to save the flowers from those special occasions. Instead of drying wedding flowers or pressing a rose from a loved one’s passing I could create a three-dimensional keepsake that would continue to look beautiful even with the passing of time. I imagined the joy I would feel if I could see the blooms of my mother’s wedding bouquet or a beautifully preserved flower from my grandmother’s memorial. How special it would be if I could show my children the flowers of my memories.
I imagined and then I created. With this idea and my background in metalsmithing and lapidary arts I began Pebbled Posies Flower Preservation located in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Tennessee.
