Gifts of Meaning
I have been creating calligraphic art since 1981, with a focus on Judaica. Inspired by traditions, old manuscripts and folk art, I design ketubot (marriage contracts), invitations, art prints, cards and other work on paper. My work makes use of ink and paper, watercolor, gouache and collage. My current prints are giclée prints, using archival ink and paper, printed in my studio by Joe Kurland.
I welcome commissions, original art and prints. A digital element such as a border design from one item may be combined with your text to make a unique print, invitation, etc. Contact me with any ideas.
I satisfy my collecting nature and avoid adding to the waste cycle, by upcycling cloth, paper scraps, beads and stones into various items. Recently I've embroidered jeans pockets which I'm now incorporating into cross-body bags and more. I enjoy offering vintage items from my personal collection as well, including many books.

Most purchases are wrapped in colored tissue paper. If you would like it gift-wrapped, select that option when you make the purchase, which adds $5 to the cost. A gift tag is included in this option, with a hand-written message if you provide the wording.
We reuse shipping materials to limit environmental impact and maintain a no-smoking environment. No pets in our environment.
