What started as a passion for restoring antique furniture — the kind that survived wars, bad marriages, and several coats of truly regrettable paint — eventually expanded into leather. Not because the furniture wasn’t enough. It was. It’s just that when you’re the kind of person who cannot walk past a beautiful hide without having feelings about it, leather work becomes less of a choice and more of an inevitability.
Pellame Studio is where that inevitability lives.
Everything here is self-taught, which is a polite way of saying there were mistakes, strong opinions, and a period of time best not discussed. I chose my methods deliberately rather than inheriting them — and I select every piece of premium leather by hand, because life is short and bad leather is shorter.
