Japan Trip Kit makes PDF travel guides for Tokyo, laid out in phone-shaped pages so you can read them in the street.
The first kit is a 5-day Tokyo itinerary (Asakusa & Ueno, Shinjuku & Shibuya, Tsukiji / Ginza / Toyosu, a day in Kamakura, Akihabara & Ikebukuro) with real travel times, which queues to skip and what to do if it rains, plus the Japanese phrase cards you hold up at a restaurant door, how to read the signs and the replies, and reservation message templates you send under your own name.
How it is made: the kit is made in Japan. The text was drafted with the help of generative AI and checked line by line by a Japanese speaker before release. Prices, hours and booking systems were checked against official sources in August 2026, and anything we could not confirm is marked CHECK BEFORE YOU GO in the text.
What we do not do: we do not make bookings for anyone, there are no photographs in the kits, and nobody paid to be included.
