Hi, we’re Cierra and Justin — the husband-and-wife team behind The Perfect Match.
What started as a simple idea—combining candles with witty, relatable sayings—quickly turned into something so much bigger than we ever expected. We officially launched in March 2020, and almost immediately, we saw how much joy our candles brought into people’s homes.
There’s something special about a candle that gets you—whether it makes you laugh, reminds you of someone you love, or becomes the perfect gift you didn’t know you needed.
Within our first year, we sold over 20,000 candles on Etsy, and since then, this little idea has grown into a full-time, family-run business. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in Rhode Island using 100% soy wax for a clean, non-toxic burn.
What makes our candles different is the experience. From the elevated, gift-ready packaging to the playful, relatable labels, everything is designed to feel personal. Many of our designs are customizable, so you can create something truly one-of-a-kind for any occasion.
This business means everything to us. It’s late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of love poured into every single order. We’ve built this together from the ground up, and we’re so grateful for every person who chooses to support handmade.
