A little bit about me...
At one point or another like all little girls I've always been in love with jewelry. It's all of those pretty little bead colors that got me hooked. I remember all throughout high school my left arm was adorned with about two dozen bracelets ranging from friendship bracelets or gimp bracelets (we all learned how to make at camp or from school friends) to those once famous "goomie" bracelets (you remember those?).
It wasn't until I got a job at a bead store and learned the basics of stringing, beading and wire work did I think "WOW I LOVE THIS!" Honestly, I think I spent more there than I made (lol). Needless to say my inventory was kinda big :)
Fast forward a few years.. Different job, kids, house and husband (oh, and my inventory which was getting ridiculous by now). I stumbled upon Etsy and was awed by all the beautifully handmade items. I'm really not sure what prompted me to set up a store but I did and haven't looked back :)
I am self taught and work hard to learn new techniques, I feel I've come a long way from when I first started out and feel very lucky that I have a very supportive family who constantly encourages me. There is still so much to be learned that I don't think one lifetime is enough!
Right now, I'm happy to be working in my studio making jewelry and hopefully bringing smiles to my customers.
