Allow me to introduce myself.....
As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved crafting. I grew up in New England, spending my summers in Maine with my grandparents, both incredibly creative in their own ways. My grandfather worked with leather in his tiny workshop and had a passion for photography, while my Nana could sew just about anything. Those summers—fishing, eating lobster and steamers, and living in my boat shoes—sparked both my love of creating and my appreciation for classic preppy style.
One of my favorite memories is visiting a small gift shop called “The Cables” with my mom. She loved picking out little treasures to have on hand for gifts, each one wrapped in their signature box. I can still picture it—the friendly old dog wandering the shop, the scent of balsam fir mixed with that cozy attic smell, the candy sticks we couldn’t wait to pick from, and the colorful ribbons lining the back wall. It felt magical, and it planted the seed of wanting a little shop of my own someday.
Years later, when Etsy was just getting started, I decided to give it a try. I began by making ribbon belts for myself, and soon after, for others. My photos weren’t perfect, but people still found and loved what I was making—and that meant everything to me. I’ve been sharing my creations with the Etsy community since 2007.
Over time, my shop has grown and evolved into something I’m truly proud of. What started as a small creative outlet while raising my kids has become a meaningful part of my life. It has allowed me to contribute to my family in my own way, and to build something that is entirely mine.
My goal is for this little space to feel like a go-to gift shop—where you can always find something thoughtful, useful, and affordable.
Creating still brings me so much joy, and my hope is that every piece you receive adds a little bit of that joy to your day—whether it’s a thoughtful gift or something just for you.
