I was born in a small town of Sivas, a small but charming province of Anatolia. Weaving in our city is one of our ancestral professions, is one of the main livelihoods
First my grandfather, then my father got this flag and brought it to this day.
Today, for health reasons, my father entrusted this flag to me.One of the most important reasons for me to carry this flag is to ensure the continuation of hand weaving, which is on the verge of extinction.
Since my high school years, I have been almost every corner of Turkey with my father. During this time, I saw many different weaving techniques and gained experience.
And it was always my best thing which I love to weave “Turkish Towels or called Peshtemals”
Turkish Towels are a part of our culture and every pattern and color has a meaning and a unique spirit.
I have been making my Turkish Towels, Turkish Blankets by myself in my atelier. I have very unique design collection.
I make different sizes of towels like hand towels which you can use it has head towel, tea towel or dish towel. I usually make these hand towels in the size around 20”x40” or 50x100cm
I make beach towel in different design and color combination in the size around 40”x70” or 100x180cm. You can use these towels as bath towel, beach towel, gym towel, spa towel, yoga towel or as a baby blanket or table cover.
I also make big blankets in the size around 78”x95” or 200x240cm. You can use these Turkish blankets as throws, table cover, sofa cover, large beach towel.
Before I start to weave my towels or blankets, I first create the design and convert it to template for weaving loom and then I decide on the color combination for that design.After all, I start to weave them in my handlooms.

I also make personalization on my towels or blankets. I have embroidering machine which I embroider name, logo etc. These kind of beach towels, or throw blankets can be very good gift idea on your special days as wedding gift towel, bridesmaid gift towel, gift for her, gift for him, bachelorette party.
