it was coming unsewn on the ends where the ear went thur the caseing. I resewed it my self because I have chinese crested hairless dogs things with them on it is hard to come by.

I was trying to contact you to make sure I understand your concern correctly, but I never heard back from you. The wire casing shouldn't be sewn on the sides because at some point you will want to replace the wire that might brake. The casing has nothing to do with ears.
