I have always been attracted to old things. I was the ‘American picker’ of the 80’s. What began as an occasional excursion to antique shops or flea markets soon became a hunt for that rare gem or unusual/unique find. Today I love attending select estate sales and browsing antique shops and flea markets. My collections focus primarily on antique/vintage holiday decorations, linens, ceramics and glassware, toys, and other items that spark my interest. I prefer the decades of the 1920s-60s, but these items are becoming increasingly harder to find today.

Halloween and Christmas are my favorite holidays and vintage decorations are far superior to the decorations produced today. Paper, pulp, and tin products from the 1920-60s can form the basis of a wonderful All Hallows' eve collection and be a fantastic way to decorate your home for the holidays. Christmas decorations from Germany and Japan are quite collectible and may also be good starter products for a beginning collector because they are more affordable and available than ornaments/figurines from the late 1900s. Easter collectibles from this time period are also highly desirable and sought after by collectors.

I'm always searching for uncommon items from these time periods and I try to add a few exclusive pieces prior to the holidays. I have also started to create my own designs using many of the same materials used 70+ years ago. I have created pixies, elves, pumpkin people and Halloween pixies/elves/mischief makers!
