Even though I shouldn’t was later than we had hoped. A lot of that was out of the sellers control. His communication is great and quality of his work is fabulous!

Glad it worked out, I enjoyed making a light for AJ! As mentioned, we were shooting for delivery 3 weeks earlier than the original delivery estimate, but ended up two weeks early instead.

Love love love these. The adjusting mechanism is not as strong is some other ones we have so getting them to set was a struggle, but they did the job and it finished off our primary bedroom perfectly

Adventures in Lighting

Hello! My name is Jay Harris, and I am the designer and maker behind Photonic Studio.

My adventures in lighting began in 2012 when I restored a pair of vintage theater lights for my own home. I enjoyed the process so much that I decided to turn it into a business. The vintage lights had a lot to teach me - I worked with them for a full year before offering my first designs.

Today I work primarily in the Industrial and Modern styles, inspired by the iconic lighting of the early and mid-century. Strong lines, contrast, and the beauty of natural materials are important themes in my work. I really love to design and make lamps, and think you will enjoy them every bit as much when they light up your space!!
