Does exactly what I needed it to do. My only comment would be that it’s heavier than I expected. Maybe aluminum or a lighter material would be more comfortable. I’m using this on my cat and he may be more sensitive than a rowdy dog. If I don’t have the best adjusted exactly right, the rod will slip over one side. But the quality is excellent and the seller was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions.

We LOVE this item for our mini-dachshund, Willy. He enjoys being outside in our fenced yard alone and he can squeeze through the fence without his picket protector. I have bought two (because he grew) and Doug was wonderful both times! He even sent me extra clips when Willy got ahold of the harness (when it was off of him) and chewed them. I highly recommend this vendor and product!

Honestly this is ingenious!! I really did not want to put an eyesore like chicken wire up and this is the best solution possible !!

Picket protector has kept our curious and active Cavalier safe and inside the fence, so much I bought a second one when she outgrew the original one. It’s well made and has allowed us peace of mind. And allowed Sadie her rambunctious runs through the fenced garden, and kept her safe.

Seems like a very good product. I would not recommend for a very small dog.
