Pickletech

Fantastic pedal, best used with gain on full wack, has a distinct growl to it. Leaning toward Fuzz really I reckon but I'm no expert. Build quality is great and the design is excellent. Noise gate is a nice touch too. The Vorpal sword killed the Jabberwock. What else can I say?

This is the fourth pedal I've gotten from this gentleman. The 3 Ventenner series and the Megaberkatron. These are excellent boutique BOUTIQUE guitar-pedal/audio processors. Always exceeding my expectations with communication & customer service to match. Highly trusted, highly recommended. Worth your money and space in your audio arsenal.

Excellent distortion/fuzz thats well made with great artwork. At bedroom levels just turn the gain to full on. Using the volume with the gain you go from a boost to full on distortion. The shape control is quality. The pedal was packaged well and shipped on time.

Beautiful undine sound with simplicity that remains a lush earful. Survived the trip across the Pond (from the UK) without any problems, even during the peak Christmas mailing season.

I love this pedal! Pickletech built my Mega Berkatron in half the time I thought they would and James added a pickup sim switch so I can run it with active basses or after buffered bypass pedals and still get the lazers and oscillations. The demos on youtube are great for the the stranger sounds but there are a lot of useful sounds to be had, even while using Flip and Crash(not that the unconventional sounds aren't useful but you know how people can be about that stuff). The "normal" fuzz sound is gated, splatty and super heavy. Very bass friendly. Unlike a lot of pedals that I've tried that get really crazy the Mega Berkatron is really easy to control and manage the oscillations and lazer sounds. Really fun, unique pedal from a really nice guy. I'll be trying more Pickletech stuff for sure.

This is a little piece of floaty wonder. Pickletech make great, weird pedals and this is no exception. A unique item and a fantastic price for a boutique pedal. You should buy one.

Doesn't get better than Pickletech. Great sounds, great guy. He made special modifications for me on this one. The only pedal I have two of.

I bought this pedal on a whim after seeing it on someone's drone-metal pedalboard on /r/guitarpedals. A lot of the video reviews mainly showcase the pedal's wackier settings but there is also a very usable heavy, gated fuzz. Initiate the crash switch and your fuzz tone gets squashed in a synth-y sort of way. If you initiate the flip switch you'll get some crazy laser gun sounds in the void between your strums. Use your guitar's volume knob to control the tone too. Overall, I am very pleased with this pedal because it is an incredibly fun pedal to play with. The artwork is cool and you can request different knobs. The build quality is great. Pickletech is easy to contact, and in a market flooded with clones being sold at very high prices, the MegaBerkatron is loaded with tones and tweakability at a very reasonable price.
