🌿 Our Story – From Pixels to Points, and Back Again
We’re thrilled to return after a long pause following the sale of our brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Anderson, South Carolina. While that chapter has closed, our creative journey has never truly stopped.
After years spent cultivating and supplying cut flowers to the local market—a passion we continue to enjoy—we felt the pull to return to our roots as makers. With a blend of bookbinding, graphic design, and storytelling skills, we created a series of illustrated books and note cards inspired by the places that make up Windward Meadows, our beloved family home.
It’s a world filled with wonder—the Blackberry Meadow, Fairy Forest, Peach Orchard, and Cottage Gardens, each filled with stories, fairies, and woodland creatures.
Our creative journey began in 1972 with an early Apple computer. Back then, I developed software that converted images into patterns for needlepoint. This led to the name PixelPoint—a playful nod to both the “pixel,” a tiny unit of a digital image, and the “points” of needlepoint fabric. The name stuck, and so did our passion for creating.
After closing our artisan gallery and bookbindery, I turned my attention to cards, graphics, and now stickers, continuing the magic from our studio tucked in the Fairy Forest. Exploring new creative tools—including the next generation of AI—has only deepened the well of inspiration.
Now, we’re excited to share this new chapter through PixelPoint Stickers, where every design is a tribute to nature, whimsy, and timeless stories. We hope you’ll find as much joy in them as we do in creating them.
