The opening of Pixel Tree Treasures is a dream I have had for quite a while. My first love is to crochet. I have crocheted since I was 8 years old and have loved it ever since. My second love is making quilts. I have made quilts for over 25 years. My first quilt was a hand pieced, hand quilted baby quilt for my daughter. I collect patterns for both Crochet Afghans and for Quilts. I have made several afghans that look like a quilt but I could never find the patterns that I really was looking for. That is when I started to create my own patterns. Then it hit me! If I was searching for patterns like this other crafters must be searching for them too. I hope you find just the pattern you are looking for. If you have an idea for a blanket please let me know and I will do my best to design it. Thank you for looking at my patterns.
This is my second Etsy shop. Alwaysstitches is my first shop. Because of Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, and spinal issues I can no longer work outside of the home. I started selling heating pads as a way to feel useful and keep myself busy. As the Fibromyalgia has been getting worse going into the craft room isn’t as easy as it once was.
That is when I started designing my own patterns. I have so many ideas for quilts, afghans and cross stitch pictures that graphing them out on the computer is a dream come true. I need to craft. As I have been drawing and crocheting for as long as I can remember. I also need to feel like I am contributing to our family income no matter how little it is.
