How I became crafter
Hello I’m Melissa I’m from Chicago and about year and half ago My husband and I moved to the Orlando area! So the story about how I became a crafter all started when I was about 4 years old. My oldest brother was in the Navy and he were besties. When he went away I was super sad. So the first Christmas he was gone he wanted to send me some gifts. So what does a good brother do?? He goes to Toys R Us and goes down the arts and craft aisle. He grabs one of every item and sends them to me. I remember getting that huge box of crafts, it was bigger than little four year old me! After that I was hooked into arts and crafts. So fast forward about 30 years... a girlfriend was on Etsy looking for some dental gifts for her team at work. I had just told her I got a cricut machine and it can do all this fun stuff...She then asks me if I can make her some cute dental Christmas ornaments for her team. We design it together and her teams loves them. She gave the ornaments in late November since she was traveling for the holidays. She told me I need to open an Etsy shop ASAP because the girls all loved them and they were fighting over the different colors. To this day that listing is and will always stay in my shop. It’s what started it all.
