Husband and Wife Carpentry + Pottery Duo!
We are so happy to be able to share some our favorite things with you. We are a potter-carpenter, artist-craftsman, husband-wife team. Living here in a little house in the Hudson valley, we have made room for an art studio and wood shop and are busy working away in both doing what we love!
My husband’s handmade furnishings are all made from local hardwood with the utmost care. Zach practically grew up in a wood shop and he fell in love with the beauty and challenge of fine carpentry even as a teen. He now has nearly two decades of experience and expertise that is very evident in his work. He finds so much joy in creating beautiful and helpful things for others to enjoy.
I have always loved art and started to paint some years ago. I get lost doing it and the time passes so quickly. To think that someone can look at something I painted and find joy or peace in looking at it makes my heart feel full. And now I’m expressing my art in another way through pottery, which has been such a fun journey and full of constant learning. I get so much happiness in sharing what I make with people who see (and feel) the beauty in it. I strive to make my pottery not only visually pleasing but a comfort to hold.
