'Plan as you please'
I have been planning since a very young age. I love doing things step by step, having everything laid out in front of me so I get a better idea of what I'm about to do. My mom is like that too. So I guess this trait does transfer from one generation to another.
As much as I like planning, I had never really decorated my planner.
I never consider myself an artist because my art skills are perhaps one point above zero.
But I must admit, that my heads are so full of ideas that sometimes I think they did leak out and, unfortunately, escape. There were times that I sensed them fading away because I always believed I could never create real things.
Trust me, my life had been an abstract piece of art for a very long time.
After watching so many people decorating and making their planner more enjoyable and more functional, I thought to myself 'wow that looks fun. I'm trying this'.
So I started googling images, vectors, cliparts, arranging them to match my weekly theme and putting them in my planner.
After awhile, I thought to myself again, 'well, how can people create stuff? all these images, cliparts, vectors. if they can, then may be I do too.'
So I brushed off the idea of 'zero art skill' away and started to make stickers for my own planner.
From blank pages on photoshop and illustrator, now I'm able to make things I can actually use and things that other people may enjoy using as well.
That how 'Planner Please' starts.
Yes. From an eagerness to try new things.
Months later, I'm here on Etsy, sharing things I've created and will be creating, with help and support from my loved ones.
I still am not an artist nor an illustrator.
I'm just someone who loves creating, planning and sharing ideas.
