Growing up in a household as the kids of two educator parents, something must have rubbed off, because we both ended up becoming educators ourselves! Our mom started as a special education teacher and ended up as an autism consultant and a low vision consultant. And our dad was a school psychologist for over 35 years. As you can imagine, dinner table discussions largely revolved around KIDS and LEARNING.
When we became parents ourselves, we noticed there were specific times when we wished we had something quick, easy, and educational for our children to do. So we came up with PlayPods. PlayPods are designed to be handy in a pinch: whether it be at a restaurant, doctor's office, or on an airplane! PlayPods fit easily into a purse or bag and are simple and intuitive—no lengthy instructions! PlayPods contain all the supplies needed to complete activities that will keep kids entertained.
