Playful and classic machine embroidery designs

I've always wanted to be an artist, I just didn't have a medium.

When I was a little girl I knew I wanted to be an artist. The problem was I wasn't very talented in drawing, painting, or the other traditional mediums. So I majored in fashion merchandising and started working in the corporate world. In 2018 I found myself a stay at home mom with two young children. I loved the custom embroidered shirts, bloomers and dresses others had their children in. I did enough research to know that embroidery was something I could probably learn. I also knew I had just enough crafty skills and taste that I would love it. And I did. Not long after doing embroidery I began to think about learning to digitize my own designs. I purposely waited a few years so that I would have enough embroidery experience to know what I liked and what I didn't, what worked and what wouldn't. In early 2021 I finally took a class to learn about digitizing. I LOVED it! It felt like I finally felt my medium. I started this shop in August 2021 as a place to put my design files that I had completed. It's a work in progress, but I'm so excited about my designs and I hope that you will love them too.

I started embroidering in 2018 to make monogramed items for my young daughter. I taught myself and within a few months opened an Etsy shop selling custom embroidered items. In early 2021 I took a digitizing class and have had so much fun creating!
