How it all began...
Je voulais ouvrir un magasin etsy depuis longtemps. Mon problème était que je n’arrivais pas à affiner ce que je voulais offrir dans mon magasin et que je ne voulais pas avoir plusieurs magasins. Mon défi était donc de savoir comment je combinerais toutes les choses que j’aime ensemble en une seule.
Le nom Pocket Full of Pixels semblait incorporer l’aspect que tout ce que je voulais inclure était numérique d’une manière ou d’une autre. En d’autres termes... toutes mes créations étaient composées de pixels (de minuscules points qui créaient une image ou une image entière).
Fin juin 2013, je cherchais un moyen de me garder très distrait et occupé. Avec mon mari, j’étais à genoux dans le processus d’adoption et l’attente avait commencé. L’attente est la pire des choses! Tous vos papiers sont classés, l’annonce est faite... mais vous attendez. Attendez de trouver ce petit ou que ce petit vous trouve! Donc, afin de m’empêcher de devenir fou de toute l’attente, j’ai décidé que c’était le moyen idéal de m’occuper. Après tout, j’avais eu besoin d’une excuse pour ouvrir la boutique de toute façon!
J’ai rassemblé toute ma bravoure et j’ai finalement ouvert les portes (au sens figuré) de Pocket Full of Pixels le 22 juin 2013. Et jusqu’à présent, j’ADORE ça!

I have wanted to open a etsy store for a long while. My problem was I couldn't seem to narrow down what I wanted to offer in my store and I didn't want to have multiple stores. So my challenge was how I would combine all the things I love together as one.
The name Pocket Full of Pixels seemed to incorporate the aspect that everything I wanted to include was digital in some way. In other words...all my creations where made up of pixels (tiny dots that created a whole picture or image).
At the end of June 2013, I was looking for a way to keep myself very distracted and busy. I, along with my husband, was knee deep in the adoption process and the waiting had begun. The waiting is the worst part! All your paperwork is filed, the announcement is made...but you wait. Wait to find that little one or for that little one to find you! So, in order to keep myself from going crazy from all the waiting, I decided this was the perfect way to keep myself busy. Afterall, I had needed an excuse to open the shop anyways!
I mustered up all of my bravery and finally opened the doors (figuratively speaking) to Pocket Full of Pixels on June 22nd, 2013. And so far, I LOVE it!
