From Pole Dancer to Polercise

Hi, I'm Sara—founder, designer and pole dancer behind POLERCISE.

I didn't create Polercise because I wanted to sell apparel. I created it because I couldn't find the apparel I wanted to wear.

I started pole dancing when I was 22, and it quickly became much more than a hobby. It gave me confidence, challenged me in ways I never expected, and introduced me to an incredible community. Before long, I was teaching pole classes and workshops, spending more and more of my life in and around the studio.

But every time I looked for clothing to wear before or after class, I felt like something was missing. I wanted pieces that felt feminine, modern and effortless. Clothing that reflected the beauty and artistry of pole without looking like generic gym wear or traditional pole merchandise. Something I could throw on over my pole wear before class, stay comfortable in while warming up, leave the studio wearing, and still want to wear for the rest of the day.

When I couldn't find it, I started drawing it.

What began as hand-drawn illustrations for myself gradually became Polercise—a brand inspired by the movement, elegance and confidence that pole brings into everyday life.

Today, every collection reflects a different side of that journey. Some are soft and floral. Some are darker and more refined. Some are playful, sporty or a little sarcastic.
But they all come from the same place—a love for pole and the people who make this community so special.

I'm building Polercise into the lifestyle brand I wish had existed when I first started pole—a brand where every collection tells a different story, but every piece celebrates the same passion for movement, creativity and self-expression.

To me, pole isn't something we leave behind when class ends. It changes how we move, how we carry ourselves and how we see ourselves. Eventually, it becomes part of who we are.

That's exactly what Polercise is designed to celebrate.
