How I Fell in Love with Crochet and Yarn
My journey with yarn and crafting began in childhood, when I was just 5 or 6 years old. My mother taught my sister and me how to knit with needles, and from that moment on, some form of crafting has always been part of my life.
In school, I enjoyed crocheting doilies, embroidering, sewing clothes, and knitting. Creating with my hands felt natural and fulfilling. However, after finishing school, crafting took a backseat for a while, as life led me in other directions.
It wasn’t until I was expecting my first child that my love for handmade crafts returned. I started crocheting and knitting baby blankets, gradually taking on special orders for children's hats. Each project reignited my passion for working with yarn.
Then, I discovered a new world: crocheted toys. Initially, I used cotton yarn to create them, but soon I stumbled upon plush yarn. I fell in love with its softness, the endless color options, and how delightful it was to work with. Plush yarn creations became my obsession, especially since they were incredibly soft, child-friendly, and adored by little ones.
Now, many years later, I’m fully immersed in the world of crochet. I craft handmade toys, design crochet patterns, create kits for fellow yarn enthusiasts, and assemble gift sets for babies. Additionally, I curate yarn bundles for others to bring their own creative visions to life.
Crochet and yarn have become more than a hobby—they are a part of who I am. Every stitch I make, every new design I create, is a reminder of why I fell in love with crafting in the first place.
