I am a young architect, I come from Reggio Emilia and I cultivate one of the oldest hobbies ever: embroidery. PolliG was born almost three years ago from a funny nickname, a very old grandma and the lyrics of a song. Today PolliG is commitment, precision, pierced fingers and the stylization of my mind: from my favorite food, to movie scenes that are important to me, from typically Emilian phrases, to elephant chains. Since I was a child I have always had an unstoppable need to use manual skills to express myself, consolidating over time a deep attention and passion for details, even using improbable technical experiments. I firmly believe in the values that handcraft has unconsciously transmitted to me in the past years: patience, refection, silence, precision, attention and respect for materials, cleanliness, reducing waste, intelligently reusing what you would discard. I have faced and clashed countless times with each of these obstacles, which now represent the forma mentis of my daily approach to what surrounds me.
