Creating whatever makes me smile :)
I first opened PopcatShop in July of 2020. I started off by selling things like zines, clay pins, and postcards. As the year went on I added products like polymer clay earrings, mini clay figures, and shrink plastic keychains. Thanks to the support from my family and friends, I sold a good amount of pieces! My purpose for starting PopcatShop was to share the art I made with others. Just knowing that there are people out there that find comfort in what I create brings me so much joy.
I ended up closing my shop for a few years when I made a big move away from my hometown. I was still creating, but my busy work schedule kept me from having time to organize and manage an online store. During this period I did set up as a vendor in a local store called Hippy Dippy Marketplace. I was given the opportunity to design the store's mascot- the Hippy Dippy Gnome. I also ended up designing a shirt that represented all the county has to offer for the store's owner. I am very grateful for my time spent vending there.
In 2026 my work and personal schedules changed drastically. I found myself with some more free time and made the decision to once again open my Etsy Shop. I am working on less clay-focused pieces and am instead incorporating my drawings into physical goods.
My artwork has changed along side myself over the past 6 years. The one thing that hasn't changed though is that I am always creating whatever makes me happy. And I am overjoyed to share that happiness with all of you.
