Go Make Something!
All my life I have loved 'making'.
My two sisters and I have grown up being 'artsy fartsy'.
In high school, I knew I wanted to be an Art Teacher.
After graduating college and not being able to land a teaching job I headed off to corporate land. It was a challenging and defining to say the least. Through this work environment I realized again my true passion and need to be creative.
I was driven to once again seek out employment as an art teacher. Thankfully, I have found a position teaching elementary art and I LOVE IT!
A big part of creating for me is using it to bring joy to others and to glorify God. I love inspiring my students and others to be creative in their own ways too. You can follow all my crazy endeavors and endless ideas over on my blog. www.emilybcreative.blogspot.com
A wonderful new part of my life now, is teaching my daughter to love and appreciate art too.
I'm inspired by color, contrast, line, shape, nature and beautiful surroundings.
Thanks for visiting and for your interest in my art!
