Event Stationery that is Undeniably You

Hey there party people! My name is Collette (she/her) and I am the owner, buyer, office assistant, graphic designer and intern of Golden Summer. This one-woman show has grown from a lifelong love of all things design. From interior, to graphic, to floral, I've worn many a design hat, but none have captured my heart quite like designing event stationery. During my own wedding planning, I found myself completely uninspired by page upon page of designs that just didn’t feel like me. Turns out, I wasn’t alone. After confiding in other engaged friends, they too were less than impressed with what was available. I ended up creating my own and several friends' wedding invitations and fell in love with the process of helping others see their wild ideas become reality. This experience brought Golden Summer to life with one sole purpose, to create products that stand out from the crowd— just like you.

Frequently asked questions
What edits are included in my order?

All invitations and custom items come with unlimited changes to color, wording and layout of our pre-designed suites. Changes to fonts, printing or paper types, or size of your pieces are subject to additional costs. If you have any questions about edits, please contact us prior to ordering.

How long will it take for me to receive my invitations?

Our average turnaround is 3-4 weeks.

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a form to fill out with all the information we need to create your suite. Once the form is completed, you will receive a digital mock-up of the pieces within 2-3 business days for you to review. You’re welcome to make any revisions you’d like to color, wording or layout at that time and a new mock-up will be sent for your approval. Each additional mock-up that is required adds 1-2 business days to the overall process. Once you have approved your pieces, printing and packaging takes two weeks then your items will be sent to you.

*PROOFS MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE THEY WILL BE SENT TO PRINTING

I have specific ideas of what I want in my invitations, do you do custom suites?

Of course! This is your day, your invitations should be everything you want them to be. Message us, we'll provide you with a questionnaire and use it to help create a one of a kind suite for your special day.

When should I order my event invitations?

We suggest ordering your semi-custom invitations a minimum of 6 weeks before you intend to send them out. Orders placed less then 4 weeks prior to the date needed are subject to a minimum rush fee of $50 and/or expedited shipping charges.

What are your shop hours?

Poppy + Birch is open 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.

M-Th : 9AM - 5PM PST
Fri - 9AM - 4PM PST

Processing times for orders placed after 2pm on weekdays or on weekends will begin the following business day.
