How it all began...
Poppy's passion for collecting and creating began when she was five years old and found a few beads in the school sandbox. She took her found treasure, attached it to a red rubber band, wrapped it around the top button of her blouse and right there began her passion for recreating from found objects. Poppy has created for friends, family and a few famous folks, too! She's sold her creations at flea markets, consignment shops, festivals and in her own little salon boutique. Poppy keeps everything about the shop simple, so she can spend her time searching the lands, near and far, handpicking cool old stuff.
Poppy Stop does not do any fixing or repairing to pieces sold as original vintage items. Those items are dusted off, slightly polished or sold as is, with full disclosure of any visible flaws or imperfections. All vintage items are sold as is. After all, they have been loved, worn, used and moved around throughout the lands. Actually, that is the coolest feature of vintage, the look of a well worn and loved object. Cheers to vintage!
