The bracelet is great and helps support a wonderful cause. It arrived as promised. My friend is a member of Potters for Peace and is currently in Africa setting up water filtration systems. I highly recommend supporting this group.

Potters for Peace: Making the World Better Through Ceramics

Potters for Peace is a non-profit organization that provides technical and financial assistance to local entrepreneurs around the world who want to establish ceramic water filter factories. Using a simple, effective, affordable, sustainable ceramic water filter, people around the world with no access to pure drinking water can filter contaminated water, producing 1 to 3 liters of sweet drinking water per hour. A filter lasts 5 years.

Potters for Peace started in Nicaragua where local ceramic artisans create beautiful pottery and jewelry. We support these artists, helping them become self-sustaining. This is the same model we use with the water filter factory owners: We help them get set up, teach them to create the filters and provide marketing and distribution training so they can get their filters into the local marketplace.
