Skin care and proper sun protection is really important to me and my family. My mom has skin cancer, and I have melasma and vitiligo, but we live in sunny San Diego. We wear sunscreen but still enjoy being outdoors. We also wear hats all year long, but many of them are simple and don't make you feel confident. This is why I started making hat clips a decade ago. I wanted my mom, and now me and my children, to embrace the hat and have fun while doing it. I've gotten many compliments throughout the years and started making them for friends and family, from there it's expanded to here!
I am also a maker, as in I like to make things. I learned a lot of my "skills" from my dad, like how to use a chop saw, table saw, properly use a T-square... I learned about how things should fit together first and to just make it yourself when possible. As a result, I am an avid crafter that also loves pretty things!
