Metal hand stamps, made by me from high carbon tool steel. These are rated for non ferrous metals, like sterling and copper, not stainless steel. Many have the detail that will work on leather.
My stamps are all made to order. Please note processing time upon checkout.

4 out of 5 stars3months to arrive is a long time, I messaged the seller to confirm this, they mentioned the time was often overlooked but was stated. If this is the case, I recommend putting it as the 1st line in the description. I was told about the difficulties the seller had making it, I personally don’t think you should take on so many orders if this is the case. Because of this I had thought I would not leave many stars. However, the quality is amazing, I thoroughly recommend. I will be buying again, this time aware of the length of time it will take to arrive.

Hi Matthew, I wanted to address your points. 1) The processing time is visible in the listing, cart, checkout, notes to buyer, including the confirmation email. This processing time in an artisan's queue of bespoke handmade stamps was 8-9 weeks. 2) Your anticipated shipping date was 3/14 from the date you placed your order. Again, this is communicated in the item details and the shipping information, and you received an estimated ship date of 3/14 when the order was placed. 3) The ship date was 3/12, which was within the estimated processing time. 4) Pleased to know your stamp arrived in the UK 3/22, then delivered 3/27, taking less than a couple of weeks to the UK. That can vary, as you are likely aware. Glad you're happy with the quality. Thanks again. Meesh

4 out of 5 starsThis is likely the smallest you can go and still transfer the amount of detail this stamp has. The attention to detail on such a small piece is amazing the fact that the edges are trimmed down so you can see the edges of where you are placing it is crucial and also not something I have seen from other custom shops. I was a little weary of the weight of the stamp when I received it as it was a bit lighter than my others like it but it’s worked perfectly. I would happily recommend this to anybody looking for a custom stamp.

Frequently asked questions
How do I drive out the detail of your stamps?
For finer details of recessed designs, try putting a piece of paper between the metal and your block. Not enough? Fold the paper. For some, thicker backings can help, like cardstock or leather.
For raised designs, be careful to not use too thick a backing, so the edges don't impress. Raised designs are generally easier to stamp.
The surface you strike upon MUST not bounce. Consider finding a stump and investing in a large block or anvil.
If you're used to using a 1# hammer, this will only work with the smaller stamps. For larger stamp surface, you'll need more force to drive the stamp into the metal. It's not uncommon to use a 2#-4# sledgehammer. Consider buying Brass if you don't already own one. They're more gentle on the stamps.
