A Christ-Honoring Job
I am so very blessed to be at home, doing what I love. The Lord has allowed me to have a thriving little business and to bless and help others with the services I can offer.
Inspired by my love of sewing along with my convictions for modest clothing and the great need of such items, I opened my shop in January of 2014, deep in the midst of the coldest winter we'd ever experienced. I had been sewing for myself for years, and several friends had commissioned me to make outfits for themselves or their daughters. At the urging of my family and a few of those friends, I decided to try selling my creations in this little shop. To my great surprise and delight, things took off and I've been happily in business ever since.
Besides modest clothing, I love to sew quilts...specifically piecing them on my antique treadle sewing machine, and then finishing them in a variety of ways. Mainly by machine quilting them on the same machine (!) or tying them with yarn. I have hand-quilted a number of creations, but that is reserved for only the special projects as it is quite time consuming. :)
Various gifts and books and accessories have worked themselves into my shop....each one being selected and sold with the enjoyment or benefit of its recipient in mind.
Many people have contacted me through my Facebook page and much custom work has come from those contacts. I try to post about new items that are up for sale, pictures of my current projects, and often a photo or two of what I've been cooking. :) Please check out the link at the right and leave me a "like" or a comment! I'd love to know you stopped by.
Thank you so much for stopping by my shop and taking the time to browse around. I hope you are blessed by what you see and just maybe you'll find something to bring home. I love to take custom work, so if you have a project that needs sewing and can't find someone to do it, feel free to contact me. I would love to visit with you about it!
