One of my skinning knives

I am a craftsman that works with woodturning, handmade knives and copper

I started working with copper. Cutting it from sheets, molding into shape and soldering it together. I have made models of trains, trucks, antique tractors, windmills, lighthouses, airplanes and comical animal figures. I don't have any copper objects currently for sale but some can be viewed in the sold section.

Next I became interested in making hunting knives using the material removal method, heating and quenching the blade to harden it and then adding an artistic handle of wood, bone, antler or man-made material. I have made over 20 knives.

Currently I am spending most of my time working with the wood lathe turning different objects including bowls, chalices, bracelets, lighthouses, molded resin art with colored pencils and legos and segmented artistic pieces.
