5 out of 5 starsI would say that overall I was happy with the item. There were also a few things I was less than pleased about - but still acceptable, given the overall item construction and price. The positives were that the item was true to spec and truly is a wood handled pipe/tomahawk. It has a dull but well-made Damascus steel head with metal fittings & wood handle. Now, what went wrong? Small things, but many small fleas make a big dog itch. The handle is all one wood piece - but the piece I got has a knot at the base of the handle where it tapered down to the mouthpiece, about 1.5 inches to bottom. This led to a crack forming, and extending upwards. My worry is that if I use it to strike, as intended as a tool, it will crack more. Second, there were still wood bits blocking the "pipe" pathways that I had to spend 1 hour poking out.

5 out of 5 starsUPDATE: the seller is absolutely awesome. They sent me a replacement piece and cares deeply about the quality of their products and the customers satisfaction! I highly recommend them as a trustworthy and reliable seller for excellent quality products! Although it is a beautiful knife the particular one I was sent had a few cold shuts that I can stick my fingernail into which make me question the integrity of the blade. I cannot speak of how often this may happen to this seller but based on everything else about the knife I would hope it isn’t a regular occurrence.
