First I make a mess, then I make jewelry
PrettyDuzz reflects my flowery, girly, pink side - Shabby Chic or Old Hollywood Glam or everything in between. I have quite a collection amassed over the adult part of my 60 years. Some is in the shop in the original state. Some things are reborn into new. I am afraid I have more of those things unfinished than finished.
I started out making mosaics and stained glass. Those pursuits are not terribly compact and portable. Found jewelry fabrication. Ah, compact and portable ... then. Now not so much. I have so much stuff. Still more portable than mosaics though nothing quite beats hitting things with a hammer; but, I digress. I started out just wanting something creative to do to avoid an unpleasant situation and distract my mind. Was putting beads on memory wire. Humble beginnings. I would like to think I have progressed substantially. I so enjoy this shop, and even more so the sweet friends I have made on Etsy.
There are several work areas in my home, but rather than give the correct impression of my messy creative style, I edited out those photos from this About story. Long story short, this is my niche. Thank you for wanting to know a little something "about" me.
