Who said budgeting can't be simple and pretty?
We started using cash envelopes a couple of months ago. As a family, we wanted to take charge of our finances and plan for the future. I read the book Total Money Makeover from Dave Ramsey and it just clicked, I knew what I had to do. So we started using the cash envelopes, but I wanted them to look pretty... So I searched hi and low on Etsy for those cash envelopes, I found some amazing ones in fabric and pretty pre-made envelopes, but I wanted some that I could print, and write the categories right on the envelopes. I changed categories and amounts on a monthly basis, so I wanted a flexible system that could change with me and still look pretty. I also wanted some matching tabs, and inserts to keep records of each envelope. All of this without affecting my budget!
This is were Pretty Finances was born. I designed a full cash envelope system with pretty envelopes that you can click and write to change the text, some matching tabs for the money in my wallet, matching inserts to keep a good record of all the envelopes, a simple paper wallet to keep all your envelopes together, even a printable gift bag to give a printed starting set to a loved one!
