I've always been a crafter
As you can see from one of the photos, I've been friends with a sewing machine for a LONG time. My Grandma Tina (yes I was named after her), and her mother before her were both seamstress's. Then it skipped a generation and here I am, fascinated with what you can do with a needle and thread..
I started out around 8 years old, sewing doll clothing by hand. I had found an old book at the library with some patterns in it, so started there. I quickly started designing my own patterns - even period clothing (think big Scarlet O'Hara hoop skirts!). After working one-on-one with my Grandma to learn how to use a sewing machine and read commercial patterns, I started working on decorative dolls. From there, my skills grew.
Drawing, painting, crafting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, the list goes on - I love all of it! I'm so happy to be doing something that incorporates so much I've learned through other artistic hobbies, and to now share this with fellow Crafters.
I strive to design patterns and instructions that are easy to follow, have lots of detailed photos, and are fun to work with. I taught myself Indesign and Illustrator (at a basic level!) in order to help me bring YOU the most professional patterns I can possibly make
It has been a journey, and I'm excited to see how I can make this small business grow!
