Primordial fire forge - From the fires of the forge, made by hand.

Alkutuli - The Primordial fire, was the first fire ever started according to the finnish epic Kalevala. Only three beings could strike it at the dawn of time: Ukko - God of thunder, Väinämöinen - wise man and a spellsinger and Ilmarinen - hero blacksmith.

Those fires are still burning at the forges of blacksmiths. My workshops fire was lit 2012 at Keuruu, Middle of Finland where I started my business. It workshop was in a old barn. That's where I worked for eight years before moving to Tikkakoski, Jyväskylä. My current workshop is located there in a old gun factory.

My journey to blacksmith started at a very young age as I was fascinated by history, especially medieval and viking periods, mythology and making things with my hands. When I was around 20 years old I started metal artisan school, where I met my blacksmith master. After school and working as a journeyman I started my own workshop.

My inspiration has always being my love for history, stories, mythology and nature. I like to combine those to my work when possible.
