I love receiving a card in the mail, knowing that someone has thought of me and wanted to brighten my day in a special way. And I love knowing that a simple gesture, like sending a card to a friend, is so meaningful. Sending cards is an age-old practice, but I think the importance of it can't be overstated.
I enjoy the process of actually making a card by hand--items in my shop are designed on paper by playing around with textures, colors, rubber stamps, and embellishments until the card tells me it's finished. It sounds hokey, I'm sure, but this process is organic. Each element on a card is placed precisely to gain maximum effect. Every verse or sentiment inside is carefully chosen to coordinate with the feel and intent of the card as a whole. Every card in my shop is produced in this fashion. I think it's much more special to receive a card that has been finessed into its final state than to receive one that has been mass produced.
The name of my shop originates with my husband: he made me his princess the day we started dating, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be married to him and to be able to do what I love every day!
