Shop products are created in a home with the supervision of dogs & cats (despite best efforts!). If worried about allergies, rinse items with water when opened and allow to dry before placing in your hermit crab tank. If severely allergic, please add a note when you order & I can rinse items before packaging away from dogs & cats.

All orders will come with a complimentary bag of sunflower seeds - please add a note if you do NOT want these.

Mixed nuts item does not contain peanuts, but cannot guarantee against risk of cross-contamination from previous manufacturing.

These products are all made with natural materials and as such, could potentially grow mold in the humid environment of a hermit crab tank. If your tank is prone to mold popping up, or if you have a toy that grows some mold, please do the following:

- scrape mold off toy if necessary
- prepare Prime-treated salt water (regular strength, same as for crab pools)
- soak toys for 4-5 hours
- allow to dry at least 12 hours
- replace in tank

*** Be careful when handling seed pod toys that have been soaked as they become more fragile while wet.

*** Do not use wet or sticky food items (including dried fruits or fruit mixes) in seed pod feeders without a liner or other container to hold the food.

***I cannot guarantee a length of time that store products will last in a hermit crab tank.***

Hermit crabs can be fairly destructive and sometimes decide to pick apart tank decor, sometimes very quickly. I have done my best to ensure that products are durable and will hold up to general use by hermit crabs. Please keep your hermit crabs' sizes and habits in mind when purchasing items. Hopefully your crabs will treat them well & enjoy them for a long time!

***Choose items carefully and pay attention to measurements given.***

Please keep in mind potential hazards when buying toys - small crabs could get stuck in larger/deeper pods, large crabs could get large pinchers stuck in a small pod opening. Customers are responsible for choosing toys that will work for their tank & crabs, and monitoring use to ensure hermit crab safety.

If you have concerns about pod sizing or the use of a toy for specific sized hermit crabs, please feel free to email or message me! I can do my best to ensure a toy is made with opening measurements that will work for you & your crabs.

Custom orders available on a limited basis - due to working a full time job & lots of animals to care for, custom orders may not always be available or may have a longer wait time to be fulfilled.

However, feel free to message if you want to ask for something & I'll see what I can do! I can do alternate hangers for securing items in the tank (horizontal vs vertical, for example), or could use different sized seed pods for an item than what is shown. I am still working on additional attachment methods & will update the shop with those options once available.
