The P31 Story....
My love of design and desire for unique and uplifting home décor in my own home is the beginning of my shop story. I began creating home décor signs and vinyl while on the search for the perfect nursery décor for our soon-to-arrive little boy. Others who saw the work I did for my son's room were interested in purchasing custom signs from me for their own homes. My husband (who is my biggest supporter and fan) encouraged me to pursue this and so began the start of my little home based sign shop in the back bedroom of our home.
It has grown and drastically expanded since those early days and in the last few years we have added the ability to decorate shirts, hats, and bags. The beginning of 2018 has brought even more expansion. We now have the ability to print anything onto any flat surface using our large format UV printer. This enables us to print both high quality and high quantity. One of the most favorite things these new capabilities allow us to do are to print photos directly to wood, metal, canvas, etc...which is such a wonderful way to display love in our homes!
While we continue to grow and add new abilities to our shop, our focus has been and always will be: to encourage, inspire and uplift others through the works of our hands. We strive to provide high quality products with outstanding customer service. Each customer is a blessing to us and our hope is that each product that we send out brings a blessing to others.
The name of our shop, Proverbs31 Design, is based of the 31st chapter of Proverbs that describes a wife, mother, and entrepreneur who works with noble character. The woman described can only accomplish all that she is capable of, because she leans wholly and completely on the Lord, her savior and rock. This is the type of woman I desire and strive to be, both at home and in my work. I daily lean on the Lord to help me with all that He has called me to do. I know part of my calling is the work I sell here on Etsy, the work I create with my hands to bless and encourage others.
