One of the best purchases I’ve made! I’m very fair to light but took a chance of the light medium since I’ve been outdoors all summer and it looks perfect. I think there’s a little room for variance with the colors. Very hydrating, and gives a really nice no makeup look glow. Evens out the skin tone. Easy to apply with hands and no blending necessary... ♥️♥️

I love this all aside from the beginning smell. It’s very green and makes me feel like a just mushed my face into fresh cut grass haha. As soon as the smell is there it’s gone! And holy heck it does such a good job. No cake or anything. I would definitely buy again. I think I found my favorite foundation ❤️ I have dry/sensitive skin and this has been amazing

Long wait, but well worth it. Nice smell & gentle on the skin. Feels almost moisturizing , leaves the skin feeling fresh and clean, and on those particularly sweaty and oily days, this stuff really draws the dirt or makeup out of your skin. My only wish would be one, maybe two more ounces for the price.

SIMPLE LIVING

♥ THE INTRO - Inspired by Asian herbs and old-fashion eastern medicine; I love all kind of botanical colors and fresh rainkissed leaves widely grown in Asia. Using the freshest organic herbs and vegetable that easily grown without the chemicals; for food and skin care; are widely practiced in Asia. Simplicity is the way of life. Back in Thailand where I grew up, we use natural colors from fruits and veggies to add beautiful nature-given pigments to food. Many flowers and plants offer such vivid colors and aroma you can even taste. Great multi-functioning plant like Pandan offers a wide range of benefits and is included in many sweet recipes. It is cheap, simple, nutritious and easily grown. Tumeric, Tamarine juice and pulp mixed with ground Mung Beans; making one of the best facial cleanser and brightener. These are just small examples among too-many-to-mention here. Simple ingredients. Raw. Most effective.

♥ WHERE IT ALL STARTED - I started making my own bath and beauty items years ago for myself but did not start on etsy until late in 2013 when all Pure Lips had to offer was just lip balm varieties. Little by little, I added and expanded the line. Pure Lips grew at a steady pace. I still had a demanding full time job then so life was hectic. I put Pure Lips on hold for 2 years to care for my son who was born with a heart defect. Pure Lips reopened in late October of 2017. The rest is history.

♥ PERSONAL STUFF -
I am a proud mom of a little boy who has endless energy, and two four-legged furr babies. I am in social services by trade but in the past years, Pure Lips has become more and more of my full time *job*. I am currently in school for another Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.

♥ PURE LIPS' MAKEUP & COSMETICS PHILOSOPHY -
I didn't plan on adding mineral makeup & cosmetics onto the line because I'm never a true makeup wearer. The main reason is because I simply hate that feeling of wearing a mask. So here I am and have been playing with various natural ingredients and creating different formulas to develop the kind of makeup that I'd wear; the one that is just like the second skin. The kind that I could go to sleep with and the kind that is not only making me look good, but feel good as well as improving my skin. I have found it and it is here.

♥ HOW I RUN PURE LIPS -
If you look around my shop, you will see I use the simpliest packaging possible. Over the years I've been asked why glasses packaging is not being used, and the most simple answer I could give; is the cost - the cost to buy it and the cost to ship it. I do not wish to leave that burden to customers. With that being said, my goal is to minimize shipping cost and concentrate on the thing that matters most - the ingredients. My shop does not offer free shipping often and does not build the shipping cost into the price tag. What you see is what you get.

I have an open door policy, so please do ask me anything you'd like to know. Pure Lips is transparent; what you see online, is what you will get. All ingredients are declared so you can make an informed decision to get the best products for yourself or your loved ones.

All products is recommended to be stored in a cool and dry location, and away from direct sunlight, pets and children.

Unrefined (raw) Shea and Cocoa Butter

Pure Lips uses only raw Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter in all products indicated as such. Raw butters inherit natural aroma that being passed on to the final products. We use only raw butters because they are never processed therefore we never have to sacrifice what the nature gives us - all intacted vitamins and minerals.

What are the "Winter Formula"?

Winter Formula refers to the products that are only available from November thru March of each year. These products are sensitive to warmer temperature and heat therefore they cannot be shipped outside of those months or they will melt. These items are listed below:
♥ Body Butter (original and Matcha)
♥ Matcha Face Butter
♥ Lip Butter
♥ Impression Face Butter
♥ Recovery Face Butter

What are all included in the "Sensitive Skin and Baby" Section?

These products are either free of synthetic preservatives or contains no preservatives at all. Even though all of Pure Lips products are sensitive skin friendly, this section is dedicated to those with extra sensitive to preservative.

Why is preservative needed?

Because mold, fungus and bacterias will grow in anything with moisture and water, they will make you really sick! When these nasties start to grow, our eyes cannot visually see. Safety is my # 1 priority and I am not willing to risk that. The benefits of preservative outweighs the risks of being sick in my book. All preservatives used are paraben free.

Anything with water, aloe vera juice or liquid need some sort of a preservative system.

Preservative free products.

Pure Lips offers several preservative free products from lip balms, eye cream, face cream, mineral make up to baby oil and perfume oil.

What does "unscented" products really mean?

Well, Pure Lips' *UNSCENTED* means, no add-on fragrances of any kind being added during the production. Pure Lips uses a lot of flowers water, distillates and "raw" ingredients such as shea butter and cocoa butter in the recipes, therefore the final products will receive the inherited aroma from the plants. In most cases, it's very mild. I, as a maker, do not mask the aroma the nature gives us, as a lot of people find it appealing.
