I have always been a creative person, making many birthday presents, jewellery and general crafts over the years. In 2011 I started a blog www.puresweetjoy.com which later developed into this Etsy shop.

Many of my items have been born out of either my own wedding planning and DIY designing or out of presents that I have made for other people. This makes them practical and well tested.

I am based in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, where I live with my husband.
