My Story:
Welcome to Purely Woven Studio. My name is Sandra, and my journey with textiles began over three decades ago. For more than 30 years, I have been sitting at a sewing machine, fascinated by the way raw fabric can be transformed into items that bring comfort, beauty, and function into our daily lives.
What began years ago as a passion project focused on comfort has naturally evolved. As my own wellness rituals deepened, so did my commitment to the materials I bring into my home and studio. Today, Purely Woven Studio (formerly Comfort Shoppe) represents that evolution: a highly curated line of premium, sustainable textile goods designed to elevate your everyday self-care.
Crafting with Intention & Premium Materials
I believe that the items we use daily on our skin and bodies should be crafted from the finest, safest ingredients nature provides. That is why I work exclusively with carefully sourced, high-quality textiles:
• OEKO-TEX Certified Organic European Flax Linen: Used to create our beautifully textured washcloths, towels, facial cleansing rounds, hair wraps, and lightweight sleep masks.
• 22 Momme Mulberry Silk: A luxurious, ultra-smooth silk chosen specifically for our protective hair bonnets, gentle makeup remover pads, and indulgent sleep masks to minimize friction and pamper your skin.
• Natural Wellness Fillers: Our specialized Lava Sand Heat Packs for Menstrual Cramp Relief are engineered with an internal multi-section structure, ensuring perfectly balanced weight and deep-penetrating thermal comfort.
Behind the Scenes at the Studio
Every piece in this shop is meticulously designed and hand-sewn by me in small batches. My studio is a small, independent workspace in the USA—a space shared with a lot of creative energy, beautiful fabrics, and my beloved indoor pet who keeps me company while I work.
Operating sustainably isn't just a business choice for me; it’s a personal responsibility. I operate a zero-waste studio, ensuring fabric remnants are mindfully repurposed, and I ship every order using minimalist packaging.
